Hey, we are Mike & Jeff Barton. We are data analysts with a love of stupid outliers and trends in sports. We will use Garbage Time Sports to highlight the stats and stories in sports that tend to get overlooked by more... serious... publications.

We will post our analytics-focused insights for the sports we love watching. If the name wasn't an indicator, Garbage Time will focus heavily on the absurd and off-the-wall stuff that always happens in sports.

We decided to formalize this into a newsletter after posting a few times on Reddit and getting great responses from folks there. This newsletter is free but is supported by optional donations and subscriptions. If you feel inclined, drop something in there. If not, we're happy to have you here anyways!
